Our Culinary Life Skill Training Classes for seniors and youth provide invaluable opportunities to learn essential cooking skills and healthy eating habits on a budget. These classes focus on teaching participants how to prepare nutritious, budget-friendly meals, equipping them with practical skills for lifelong healthy living. By emphasizing affordability and resourcefulness, we empower individuals to "fish" for themselves, making a lasting impact on their ability to maintain good eating habits.
Partnering with local food suppliers, Good Food Servants Community Kitchen (GFSCK) helps fund these classes, ensuring that participants receive high-quality training and ingredients at no cost. This collaboration not only enhances the educational experience but also strengthens community ties, making our culinary classes a cornerstone of sustainable, healthy living.
Minimum of 10 participants.
